Grad Day 2012 - May 19
MasterLube is a long time supporter of alcohol-free graduation celebrations for Billings and Laurel High Schools.
Each year, MasterLube helps students raise funds for these celebrations through a special event called "Grad Day." Grad Day is held one Saturday in May and each school "adopts" a MasterLube location for the day. High School students and volunteers help staff by washing windows and directing traffic. Every penny a customer spends with MasterLube during that day goes to the schools for their all-night, alcohol-free graduation parties. Students also raise funds through roadside donations, BBQs and car washes.
This year's Grad Day was held May 19 from 7am to 6pm at all MasterLube locations.
"War of the Walls" is our annual mural competition that coincides with the Grad Day fundraising event.
One student, or student team, from each Billings and Laurel High School is chosen to represent their school by designing and painting a mural at each MasterLube location. Once each mural is completed, the public votes online and a winner is crowned and given a traveling trophy and bragging rights for the year.
Visit our War of the Walls 2012 page for photos from this year's competition.
The 2012 War of the Walls Winner is Daniel Montoya of Skyview High School! |
