We're pleased to introduce MasterLube’s Training & Development Program, Version 5.0. (We call it that because over the past 30 years we have had four previous T&D Programs.) Suzette Fox, of School District 2’s Adult Learning Center, Russ Cherry, MasterLube’s Director of Training & Development and owner of Dream Big Consulting, Angie Wong of Wong Leadership and others have done extraordinary work.
The new program, as presently designed, will include an initial 135 hours of training over a four week period. Eventually all new employees will begin with that four week program, but starting in November, 2009, we began with our current staff. Approximately 60 hours was classroom instruction divided equally between School District 2’s Adult Learning Center and MasterLube’s Director of Training and Development. The remaining 75 hours will be hands-on training in our stores. Curriculum will include subjects from "Everything that you, or anyone else, ever wanted to know about Lubricants, Fluids, Filters and Belts" to "Where are you on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Human Needs".
It may be interesting to compare the service you receive now with service after more of our team has completed the program – you can judge if we have effected the significant elevation we are striving for.
