Training Program

Training is one of the ways used to describe how the phenomenon of learning takes place. Learning may be defined as: A persistent change in human performance or performance capability as a result of the learner’s interaction with the environment. Learning may be unplanned, incidental and informal.

Learning is an integral part of our mission to attract, hire, train, develop, and launch. A large part of our launch process is unplanned, incidental, and informal. The MasterLube leadership team is constantly interacting with our team members looking for opportunities to teach on the spot, when the need arises. A day does not pass at MasterLube without change in performance because of caring interaction.

Based upon the definition of learning I would define training as: planned experiences that are focused upon individuals learning specific skills that will normally be applied within a short period of time or almost immediately.

MasterLube also plans regular, "formal", training experiences. All employees spend four hours a month in the classroom learning the following skills: automotive/technical, interpersonal communication, team building, planning, financial/budget, personal mission/vision statements, and life skills.

MasterLube is made up of great people who serve our customers according to the highest industry standards. With effective learning and training we hope to demonstrate our superior technical and interpersonal skills and thereby gain your trust and continued patronage - and keep your vehicle on the road longer!
