Graduating seniors from Billings and Laurel high schools held their annual MasterLube Grad Day fundraiser on Saturday, May 16. The event raises funds for their all-night, drug-free and alcohol-free graduation celebrations.

The event raised almost $60,000. The money is used to purchase prizes for all students, buy food, and hire entertainment. Organizers say more than 90 percent of graduates attend the parties.

MasterLube donated all sales from last Saturday’s business to the schools during this event. MasterLube retains $0 for product cost, labor, or overhead. Several other businesses donated a variety of goods from car wash supplies to soda and hot dogs. The student and parent volunteers also accepted roadside donations, held BBQs and washed cars.
